The success of the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance multiplies significantly as member partipation grows. More involved members promote a better understanding of the watershed, and cooperative efforts lead to consensus building and more meaningful management, resulting in greater care for our watershed. We all have a role to play in making this effort successful.

Become An Active Member
Membership in the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance is open to all organizations and individuals whose interests are consistent with our Mission, Vision and Goals. Members do not need to live or operate within the Red Deer River watershed.

There are six membership categories:

(a) Environmental (including not-for-profit environmental organizations and local stewardship groups that have a demonstrated interested in one or more aspects of watershed or water use management)

(b) Agricultural & Business/Industry (including agricultural producer groups and association, the irrigation sector, companies and corporations)

(c) Municipal Government (including rural and urban municipalities)

(d) Academia & Regulatory (including provincial and federal departments and agencies)

(e) First Nations

(f) Individual (incluidng individuals having a demonstrated interest in watershed or water use management, especially within the Red Deer River watershed).
