Our Annual General Meeting will feature Board elections,an overview of 2016/17 and our plans for the coming year.Following the business portion of the AGM,

Landscape ecologist and author Kevin Van Tighem will share some stories of failure and success from over four decades of working, living in, studying and observing Alberta’s watershed landscapes. From his more recent experiences working on the South Saskatchewan Regional Plan and subregional “footprint management plans” he will share insights into the values of headwater landscapes and the ways in which our land use choices can enhance those values or degrade them. Regional Planning offers a chance to create tomorrow's stories of land and water stewardship, and of what Albertans can achieve when we are at our best.

Provincial aquatic scientist Jason Kerr will look at monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities in our watershed, addressing tributary monitoring, salinity trends and the role of erosion as a driver of heavy metal exceedances.
