The Red Deer Watershed Alliance Celebrates 10 Years "Come See and Test the River from the River " Sunday, September 27 - 9:30am to 2:00pm The float starts at McKenzie Trails North Parking Lot and Boat Ramp $10.00 per person (Lunch will be provided)

The Red Deer River Watershed Alliance (RDRWA) will be celebrating the evolution of the organization and its many successes over the past 10 years in a very fun and fitting float down the Red Deer River!
10th Anniversary Poster

Through a partnership with Alberta RiverWatch, a nationally recognized science on the water education program. We can have up to 72 adults and 24 children (12-18 years old). The river enthusiasts will travel in large, inflatable rafts, professionally guided by experinced and certified RiverWatch staff.

RiverWatch will host our group for a casual, fun, and up-close look at the Red Deer River, helping us learn along the way about water quality, natural history, and human impact.

We hope you will join us on this exciting water journey. Space is limited so please register early!Please let us know if you have any food allergies as a BBQ lunch will be provided.

NOTE: This event will be cancelled 24 hours prior if the weather is forecast calls for heavy rain, unseasonable cold, or river flows above 200 cubic metres per second. Registered participants will be notified by e-mail of any cancellation or postponement.
