RDRWA's 10th Anniversary Celebration!

RDRWA's 10th Anniversary Celebration!

Sunday, September 27 from 9:30am to 2:15pm

We will be celebrating the evolution of the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance (RDRWA) and its many successes over the past 10 years in a very fun & fitting float down the Red Deer River on Sunday, September 27! Please come and join us to see the river, meet like-minded people and hear about changes both in the watershed and at the Alliance since 2005.

This celebration gets under way at 9:30am at McKenzie Trails Boat Launch and goes until 1:00pm ending at the River Bend Boat Launch. Free lunch is being provided at the River Bend Boat Launch from 1:00pm to 2:15pm, to which you are also invited!

Through a partnership with Alberta RiverWatch, a nationally recognized “science on the water education program”, we are able to offer this unique opportunity to RDRWA members, family, and friends for a minimal cost of $10.00 per person and can have up to one hundred (100) participants. If people wish to have young children attend (i.e., 7 to 12 years), they will need to contact RDRWA Executive Director, Jeff Hanger at the Alliance office. The river enthusiasts will travel in large, inflatable rafts, professionally guided by experienced and certified RiverWatch staff.

We hope you will join us on this exciting river raft trip!

Attached is the event invitation poster as well as a copy of the route map. To register visit  http://www.rdrwa.ca/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=124, e-mail info@rdrwa.ca, or call Executive Assistant, Kelly Dodds at 403-340-7379.

We thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to seeing you there!
