The RDRWA is hiring an Executive Director!

Are you interested in leading a small non-profit organization that strives to protect the health and sustainability of the Red Deer River basin through watershed management? If so, this position may be of interest to you.

The Executive Director is responsible for enabling the achievement of the RDRWA’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives as guided by the organization's policies, and in accordance with the RDRWA’s Bylaws. The Executive Director is responsible for leading the operations of the organization, including strategic planning, governance, administration, finances, partnerships, programs, project management and communications. The Executive Director reports directly to the RDRWA Board of Directors.

In this very rewarding position, the successful candidate will be a seasoned manager with at least 5 years related experience and possesses a minimum of an undergraduate degree in a related discipline [e.g. Geography, Environmental Sciences/Engineering, Natural Resource Conservation]. They will also possess the ability to manage a small organization in a sustainable manner while building positive relationships and engaging all partners in the watershed.
