Volunteer in Your Watershed!
Residents of Central Alberta are encouraged to take an active role in the activities and operations of the Alliance. You can participate with the RDRWA by volunteering on one of the RDRWA working committees or for upcoming events and projects. With the cooperation of members, the RDRWA will be an effective, diverse group capable of expanding our reach, education and goals. The Red Deer River Watershed Alliance currently hosts two standing committees which meet at least four times per year.
The formal nomination, and election, of directors to the board of the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance Society occurs at the Society’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the month of June. If you are interested in seeking election to the RDRWA Board, nominations must be received at the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance Society’s office at least 14 days prior to the date of the AGM. A nominated member must consent to the nomination and thereby recognize the substantial commitment to participate in the activities of the Society.
For further information on nominations to the board of directors, please email your interest to: firstname.lastname@example.org
